Givalex - topical antiseptics in combination with an anesthetic, for treatment and prevention of diseases of the oral cavity and throat, caused by a bacterial or fungal infection.
Pharmacological group: Combined topical antiseptic.
Available in two forms:
Givalex spray vial 50 ml,
Givalex solution in the vial for 125 ml.
1 ml solution Givalex rinse or spray comprising hexetidine - 1 mg, choline salicylate -5 mg hemigidrata hlorbutamola - 2, 5 mg.
Action Givalex due to its three components.
Hexetidine (INN - hexetidinum) has a wide range of antibacterial action. By aerobes shows bacteriostatic action to anaerobes - bactericidal. Thanks hexetidine drug acts as an anti-fungal, hemostatic, and enveloping means.
It acts as choline salicylate
analgesic, reduces the temperature.
Hlorbutamol is an anesthetic, ie lokal means. Also it has anti-microbial and anti-fungal action.
- Acute and chronic tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis;
- prevention of post-operative care and wound infections in the oral cavity (after removal of the tooth tartar removal, before and after dental operations);
- for the topical treatment of inflammation foci by irrigation or rinsing throat and mouth when aftah, stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis.
Do not use if you are hypersensitive Givalex any of the ingredients that goes into the preparation; children up to 6 years.
Givalex Spray is not recommended for children under the age of 12 years.
When treating drug may occur changing taste and smell; less skin rash as an allergic reaction.
Instructions for use Givalex
According to the instructions to Givalex drug is used topically irrigation (spray) or rinse (solution) of the oral cavity.
Givalex Spray: designate an adult to one spray 4-6 times in fact, for children up to 15 years in one spray 2-3 times a day;
Givalex solution: a beaker filled to the 10 mL mark, and then topped up with warm water to 50 ml, or 2 hours. The product was dissolved in n fourth stack. warm water to rinse of 2-3-4 times a day.
Do not swallow. The treatment course of 5 days.
According to the instructions to Givalex drug is not recommended for long-term, due to possible changes in the natural microbial balance of the oral cavity and pharynx. Children older than 15 years are designated adult dose.
We do not recommend the use of Givalex with other medications that contain preservatives.
