Pharmacological action

Aspirin UPSA has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity. The advantage of the soluble form of the drug as compared with conventional acetylsalicylic acid is more complete and more rapid absorption of the active substance and its better tolerability. Also according to the instructions Aspirin UPSA reduces platelet aggregation and thrombus formation, with the antiplatelet effect persists for weeks after a single dose.

Product form

Aspirin UPSA produced in the form of flat white effervescent tablets containing 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid. Excipients - Sodium carbonate anhydrous, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate anhydrous, sodium bicarbonate, crospovidone, aspartame, natural orange flavor and povidone. 4 tablets in a strip.

Indications Aspirin UPSA

Contraindications

Aspirin UPSA is contraindicated according to the instructions to apply at:

  • Erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract in the acute phase, as well as gastrointestinal bleeding;
  • Portal hypertension;
  • "Aspirin" asthma;
  • Dissecting aortic aneurysm;
  • Phenylketonuria;
  • Hemorrhagic diathesis, including hemophilia, telangiectasia, von Willebrand disease, thrombocytopenia, hypoprothrombinemia, thrombocytopenic purpura;
  • Lack of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase;
  • Hypersensitivity to aspirin UPSA or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
  • Severe disorders of the liver and kidneys;
  • Deficiency of vitamin K.

Aspirin UPSA for instructions allowed to take only the second trimester of pregnancy and during lactation should stop breastfeeding. The drug does not apply to children under 15 years old because of the risk of Reye's syndrome.

Aspirin UPSA used with caution in uric acid nephrolithiasis, hyperuricemia, decompensated heart failure and gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the anamnesis. When aspirin UPSA should take into account that the drug can cause an acute attack of gout with the existing predisposition.

Use caution when co-administration of aspirin UPSA with glucocorticoid drugs and ethanol, as these increase the effect of acetylsalicylic acid on the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract, thereby increasing the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
