Release form and composition

The active drug substance - Antral (tris [N (2, 3-dimethylphenyl) anthranilate] aluminum). Accessories: magnesium carbonate heavy, calcium stearate, aerosil, povidone 29/32, crospovidone XL 10, polysorbate 80, microcrystalline cellulose 101, potato starch, Opadry 85 II G25557 red, Opadry 85 II G18490 white.

The drug is available in the form of biconvex tablets, film-coated deep red color, containing 0, 1, or 0 g, 2 g Antral per tablet. The blister packs of 10 tablets, 3 blisters in a carton box.

Indications

Use of antral advisable both adults and children with such diseases and conditions:

  • Hepatitis acute and chronic forms of different genesis (alcoholic, toxic, viral, medical);
  • cirrhosis of the liver;
  • Fatty liver;
  • Inflammation of the pancreas, spleen and gall bladder.

The drug is also used as a prophylactic agent for effects on liver toxins, drugs, radiation and chemotherapy.

Contraindications

Application instructions for antral contraindicated:

  • In case of hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation;
  • Children under 4 years of age;
  • In case of violation of renal excretory function.

Dosage and Administration

According to the instructions Antral is taken orally 3 times a day half an hour after meals and washed down with sips of clean water or milk.

Dosage unit is as follows:

  • For adults and children over 10 years - 200 mg;
  • In cirrhosis in the first week - 400 mg, in the next two or three weeks, 200 mg;
  • Children aged 4 to 10 years - 100 mg.

The duration of treatment varies depending on the severity of the disease. On average, the treatment lasts 3-4 weeks after the same period of time it is repeated.

side effects

In rare cases it is possible manifestation of digestive disorders, which takes place after discontinuation of treatment. In general, patients tolerate therapy antral, as evidenced by the positive feedback.

Cautions

Antral not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.
